Sign up has ended and all future sing ups will go directly to our backup player list..

In the casting process we will use algorithms and software created by Ville Marttila to analyse answers to the registration questionnaire and to calculate the suitability of each character for each registrant. While final decisions regarding the casting are made by the GMs, it is important to understand that answering “I do not want this” to a question regarding a character feature means that you will not be considered for a character with this feature. The tools will also take into account preferred genders in romantic relationships and the results of the flagging process.

Flagging

Once the sign-up period has ended, there is a flagging process. We will send you the list of sign-ups and if you wish to flag anyone. We do not ask any reasons, but you may provide the information if you wish.

Flags:

No Romance: “I do not wish to play romance with this person. I’m okay playing other contacts with this person.”

Yellow Flag: “I don’t wish to play close to this person. I’m okay with both of us being present at the larp.”

Orange Flag: “I’m not comfortable with this person for interpersonal reasons and if they attend, I will drop out. I don’t deem them unsafe for others / the game, it’s entirely personal.”

Red Flag: “This person is unsafe for other players / the game. If this person attends, I will drop out.”

Nobody will be told who flagged them. The process is entirely confidential between the organizer team and the potential player.

After the flagging is done, we will perform the casting of players. Casting will be done anonymously based on anonymized sign-up data and information provided by the potential player.
